Tree Plantation Drive - Nagathali (Forengers)
TAST and Forengers NGO conducted a plantation drive at Nagathali. This activity engaged the community in taking concrete climate action by planting indigenous species of flora. All saplings were planted in Indian pre-monsoon season (June) in anticpation of excellent organic growth as the monsoon arrives. As contingency measure for low rainfall or drought, drip-irrigation facility was pre-installed with the help of local beneficiaries and farmers associated with the land and community.
